Emanuele Dascanio
A single string
The entire motif consists of a single thread stretched around thousands of nails. There is no photo or print hidden behind the thread. The photorealistic impression only results from the illusion of the eye, which can no longer perceive the thread as such after a certain distance.
Two works of art in one
Up close you get a completely different impression than from far away. While you can see every single nail and every string segment up close, from a distance of approx. 2-3 meters a photo-realistic picture emerges.
Emanuele Dascanio's unique drawing style creates a new type of art using the technique developed by WireStyle - essentially combining two completely different art styles into a single work of art.
