Fadenbild mit 7665 Nägeln, 81x57 cm

This string art picture is our interpretation of a famous street art motif by Banksy, which appeared near London’s Old Street tube station in 2002 and became known as “Pulp Fiction”: two gangsters in black suits with their weapons drawn — except the weapons are bright yellow bananas. Banksy’s ironic nod to a 1990s film scene was painted over in 2007; here, the motif lives on as string art.

It is 100% Made in Germany, precision-made in our workshop in Karlsruhe, Germany, by two robots we built ourselves, which hammer in 7,665 rust-free aluminum-titanium nails for this motif and pull a 1,250 m long black and a 32 m long yellow polyester string — 1,282 m of string in total, as tear-resistant as nylon, and durable enough to even be vacuumed without damage. It arrives ready to hang, framed in a sleek matte black aluminum frame (81x57 cm) with integrated hanging rails for two height options, and ships within days directly from our workshop.
